The head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko, has indicated that his team needs to double their hard work in order to end their poor run in the Ghana Premier League. The Yellow and Mauves are currently on a poor run of six league matches without a win in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghanaian top-flight league. Last Sunday, the team lost its place at the top of the league standings after a shocking 2-1 defeat to Dreams FC in their Week 26 fixture. Speaking on his team’s struggles, Ibrahim Tanko backed his side to turn things around but emphasised that it will take a lot of hard work. “There is one thing we have to do, we have to keep on working, we have to make sure that we get our next three points at home,” Tanko said after the defeat to Dreams FC. The Medeama coach continued, “Definitely, we still have eight games to play, all the teams have very tough games to play, so we are going to prepare well for the last eight games.” Up next for Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League, the team will face Eleven Wonders on Friday, March 27. The fixture is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the TnA Stadium. Send your news stories to [email protected] and via WhatsApp on +233 546310076.
