Antoine Semenyo has insisted that personal accolades take a back seat to team ambitions, stressing that Manchester City's pursuit of silverware remains his primary focus. The Ghana forward was recently named Premier League Player of the Month for February after scoring three goals and providing one assist in five league appearances. It marked his first such honour and another milestone in a career-best season. But the 26-year-old made clear where his priorities lie. "There is still so much to play for," Semenyo said. "My focus now is to keep improving and help City achieve the best possible results. I'm really excited about the final part of the season." Semenyo has 15 Premier League goals this campaign—the most prolific of his career—trailing only Erling Haaland and Igor Thiago in the Golden Boot race. Yet with City competing on multiple fronts, including the Champions League and domestic trophies, individual numbers matter little compared to what the team can achieve together. "It's been such an amazing start to life at this club. I'm learning so much every day and I honestly feel I'm already a better player."** For Semenyo, the season is far from over. The best may still be yet to come. Send your news stories to [email protected] and via WhatsApp on +233 546310076.
