GPL: No pressure on Medeama SC players despite current struggles â?? Felix Kyei

Medeama SC goalkeeper Felix Kyei has noted that there is no pressure on players despite the team's struggles in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season. The Yellow and Mauves dominated the first round of the 2025/26 league campaign and led at the summit for several weeks. However, after a shocking slump in form in the second round, the team from Tarkwa has lost its first place in the league log and now sits second behind Bibiani Gold Stars. Over the past weekend, Medeama SC suffered a 2-1 defeat to Dreams FC in their Week 26 fixture, making it six matches in the division without a win. Speaking after that loss, Felix Kyei admitted the team’s form is worrying but rejected the idea that the poor form has put pressure on players. “For us, the players, there is no pressure on us. We are taking it match after match, so if something does not work for us, we have to go back and do our homework and look at how we can win the next game,” Felix Kyei said. With Week 27 coming up, Kyei and his Medeama SC teammates will be hoping for a win against Eleven Wonders. That match will kick off at 3 pm at TnA Stadium on Friday, March 27.
