Nations FC coach Frimpong Manso has backed his side to overcome Aduana FC in their MTN FA Cup semi-final showdown, describing the upcoming tie as open and intriguing. The Abrankese-based outfit booked their place in the last four on Sunday after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Berekum Chelsea, winning 4-3 following a hard-fought contest. Speaking after the quarter-final triumph, Manso acknowledged the size of the task awaiting his team in April but expressed confidence in their ability to rise to the occasion. "Yeah, that is about a month away, so we just relax and concentrate on our last and next game, which is against Kotoko, but we know Aduana to be a strong side," he told Nations FC TV. "We've played against them home and away. We won in Ahenema Kokoben. They also won in Dormaa, so yes, it's going to be an interesting game." For now, attention shifts back to the Ghana Premier League, with Nations FC preparing for a Week 26 clash against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, March 22. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 pm. Send your news stories to [email protected] and via WhatsApp on +233 546310076.
