Ghana international Abdul Fatawu has attracted transfer interest from four Premier League clubs, with Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Brentford all monitoring the Leicester City winger's situation closely. The 22-year-old is enjoying the most productive season of his career, registering nine goals and seven assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. His performances have caught the attention of top-flight scouts, with Fulham and Brentford believed to be leading the chase for his signature. Fatawu's future could be shaped by Leicester's league position. The Foxes currently sit 12th in the Championship standings, and sources suggest his price tag could drop to around £5 million if the club fails to secure promotion. While there is no release clause in his contract, Leicester may be forced to consider offers if the player pushes for a move. The winger initially joined Leicester on loan from Sporting CP, where opportunities were limited, before making the move permanent in summer 2024 on a five-year deal. He played a key role in Leicester's promotion-winning campaign last season, scoring a memorable hat-trick against Southampton. His progress was temporarily halted by an anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered on international duty during the 2024-25 season, but he has returned strongly this campaign. Fatawu has been named in Ghana's 26-man squad for upcoming friendlies against Austria and Germany on March 27 and 30, respectively, as the Black Stars continue preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
