Ghana’s U17 women, the Black Maidens, will begin their FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign with a two-legged first-round tie against Togo next month. The first leg is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Stade de Kegue in Lomé, with kickoff set for 4:00 PM. The return leg will take place six days later on Saturday, April 18, at the Accra Sports Stadium, where kickoff is set for 3:30 PM. The fixture forms part of the opening round of the African qualifiers for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, with teams across the continent competing for limited spots at the global tournament. After a period away from the competition, the Black Maidens will be aiming to make a strong start and reassert themselves on the continental stage. Securing a positive result in Lomé will be key to easing pressure ahead of the decisive second leg in Accra. With home advantage in the return fixture, Ghana will look to rely on familiar conditions and crowd support to complete the job and progress to the next stage of the qualifiers.
