Berekum Chelsea attacker Jonah Attuquaye has expressed his displeasure about his outfit defeat to Vision FC in matchday 25 of the Ghana Premier League. The Bibires succumbed to a 3-1 defeat to the Tema-based outfit, deepening their woes in the domestic top-flight this season. The defeat sees Chelsea drop closer to the relegation zone, while Vision FC climbs the standings A second half brace from Setsofia, sandwiched by a strike from Ibrahim Larbi was all the home side needed to collect all three points. A late strike from Vincent Klu Adjei was however not enough for a fightback from Chelsea. The win extends Vision FC’s unbeaten Ghana Premier League run to six games, highlighting their remarkable rise in the second half of the campaign. Speaking after the match, the former Legon Cities star expressed dissatisfaction with his outfit current position on the league log, while promising an improved performance in subsequent games. “We did well in the first half, even taking the lead, but we couldn’t maintain it and ended up losing. This result is tough for me and the entire team. We’ve lost, so we need to correct our mistakes and push further up the league table. Our current position in the standings is very poor,” he said. Berekum Chelsea will host Karela United in matchday 26 of the Premier League, while Vision FC travels to face Bibiani Goldstars.
